I have found an
extremely helpful Outlook Add-In, which makes it possible to auto record the
time spent on the work with mails and tasks.
Recent days, we can
relate an e-mail to almost every issue
that we are working on during our working hours or even creative processes. It
is extremely helpful with this AddIn, that you don't have to start a clock, and
you don't have to organize tasks and time schedules you've worked with, you
need only open an e-mail that is related to your recent issue. The AddIn tracks
every minutes you have spent working on this e-mail, or related issues, and you
don't have to
note this or have to
fill Excels or other registry systems to track it.
There are beautiful,
automatically generated reports you can reach at one click. So to have a full
view of your time spent on work or creation, you have to only open the related
e-mail, which work of course can be a recent answer for that mail, or other work
which is needed to answer to that mail - the tracker will follow your time.
Only one thing you
have to do is to close the e-mail, when you finish.
This tool also helps
you to avoid multi tasking, and focusing to one issue, which is a good virtue
of successful people.
I have use it for
months and i think it is the best tool that supplements the usual office
applications.
